I have an acer 5102 with wxp-pro/mce I replaced the hdd to a larger 160gb.
My old hdd had the pqservice partition on it that I thought I copied but did not. I have original recovery disks I made when I first used my laptop.
My question is can someone with the same laptop 5102 with xp send me a pic or list of the files (use acronis or partition magic to browse the files on the pqservice partition) I need in order to make this partiton on my new hdd.
This way I can copy the proper files from my recovery discs and recreate the partition.

It can be done but it's not legal.
The windows in your friends image will have the serial number and registration info of his laptop, not yours.
