Here's the situation. Just got this aspire 3000, (good comp) but Windows has got to go and this pq. partition got me scratching my head. Is this just a MSwindows thing or something for the computer/hareware? Basically, is it cool to erase the entire drive.

The PQservice partition contains the data for original factory settings. It will restore the laptop to factory settings without the use of any disks. You can delete it if you do not want to use the OEM windows or if you have your own copy of Win or whatever OS you want to use.
