Hi, I have a problem with a Notebook Acer Travelmate T200.
I need to remove the setup password. The one that is requested
when you enter the setup pressing the F2 key.

I have opened the Notebook, removing the keyboard (it is easy on
this series of Acer Notebook). Under it, on the motherboard, there is a dip switch with eight switches. But, if one of it disables Password, I don't know what number (1,2,3... or 8)?

Furthermore, on the desktop motherboards there is a jumper toClear Cmos memory. On the notebook I don't know, but I have removed the setup battery for some minutes, and nothing happened on the password.

May anyt of you help me to solve this problem? The notebook hard disk has to be removed for it is not more working, and I cannot replace it without accessing the setup. Thank you.
