Intel says the T3200 is a pentium dual core. Pcwizard says the cpu is a c2d T5750. So does that mean the T3200 is a renamed c2d with some cache disabled? And why doesn't the American Acer site have the 5735z in the support section? I know its a bottom barrel item but at least show some support. I noticed the 4630 has the same specs except for the screen size. Can the Bios and driver intertwine?

This is typical of Acer. Seems to take them forever to update their support website with information, drivers, etc, for the new models. Perhaps it'll finally show up on their support site(s) by the time the model is discontinued...

Acer Euro tends to be more up-to-date with these sorts of things, but even they don't have a section for this yet!
As for the CPU, PCWizard may not feature this CPU if it hasn't been updated in a while.
According to Wikipedia, the PDC T3200 is exactly what you said - a T5750 with half the cache disabled.

And whatever you do, DO NOT USE THE BIOS FOR THE 4630 ON YOUR MACHINE! The two may have similar specifications, but if they use different chipsets or hardware, you stand a very good chance of bricking your machine.
What drivers are you looking for, anyway? We might be able to help you out here.

Oh, and if you haven't already, boot up Acer eRecovery and burn your system recovery DVDs and your Utilities & Drivers disc.

Just looking for an updated bios. I am using the 1.07 bios. I bought an p8600 to see if it will work, but it will not boot so I thought i might try a new bios to see if it supports the 45nm core. THanks for the response. I really dont think the gl40 core supports the 1066 fsb. I might be selling a p8600, but it was worth a try.
