    Hi,

I was wondering how the graphic quality of playing games at 1024x768 resolution on a native 1400x1050 screen would be. Is it still sharp and playable or does the graphics get blurry.

    Thanks

The graphics will actually get stretched out and slightly fuzzy. I've played Rainbow Six 3: RavenShield on an HP NX7000 with a 15.4" Wide LCD and even though it was stretched out and not as sharp, but it was still playable.

I don't notice much difference, but I do prefer playing Far Cry at 1400x1050 with slightly lower settings than at 1024x768 with higher settings. Resolution over eye-candy any day I say. :)

Some games, like Tiger Woods 2004(my current fav), don't even offer the 1400x1050 resolution anyway.
