    Hi i m awais...i wil b very thankful to u...i m in deep trouble.

    i bought my acer travelmate 5623wsmi 2months ago...it had vista..but after sometime it proved out to b a crap...huge many prbs...i tried to install xp on it...but it was making prb..

    1..when i double click on some partiton in my computer..it shows error...
    c:\resycled\boot.com is not a valid win32 application....(screen attached)...this error appeard although window was new..
    2.. y when vista runs...it uses half of cache..n rest half is not enough to run applications...then window becomes heavy...my latop has 2mb cache..
    3.. just now when i installed visa from backup dvd...now its sound card is not accepting update driver..be4 it used to install...

    plzzz help me....m tooo much upset..i wna switch to xp...but how i solve prb..vista is a total set of crap....plzzz help me

    Hi, welcome to NBR. Right-click on one of your partitions, let's say C:, and check if you have Autoplay in the menu. If yes read below.

    If you're not familiar with regedit and what deleting system files may cause, I suggest you backup what you modify/delete. Files and registry!
