This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Please help me with my wireless issue

    Everything on my Acer Aspire 1830T has been great, but tonight after I restarted after windows updates my wireless is no longer working.

    I tried installing drivers from the original disk and the support website with no avail. I just ended up uninstalling everything and the windows updates that installed today to start fresh. I have nothing re-installed but the ethernet driver, wireless still not working obviously.

    So, I go to update through device manager and get the following message:
