I would like to replace my desktop pc with an Aspire 1672LMI
    (PIV 3Ghz,512,60 Gb, Ati 9700 64,DVD DL,...)
Video editing, photos and games are my preferred apps...
file sharing apps are my drug.
Is it safe to leave always on line (24/7)such a laptop (using an hd
for storage connected via firewire) ???

Excuse my poor english and thanks in advance.

As long as the notebook gets sufficient cooling, you should be able to run your notebook 24/7 without any problems. I have run my notebook 24/7 for 2 weeks straight without any problems.
