    Pls Help..how can i format my acer laptop..

    i have a laptop from UK and i need to reformat but i don't have recovery disc..and i don't have licensed windows exp..but it has windows exp installer and drivers on hard drive and i don't know how can i use it..what should i press on start up to use it?! :confused: my laptop is Aspire 3610..

    if your laptop have pre install windows xp. you can make recovery thru acer utilities erecovery. then you can recover your windows xp. be carefull not to reformat the hidden partition in harddrive where the recovery files stored.

    i cant my run my e-recovery because it's protected by a password.. :(
    my grandmother bought it in London, and im from Philippines..

    is there any other way?? :confused:

    by the way are you pilipino? try partion magic or acronis dick image find out if the hidden partition is still there. if not you have no choice is to format it and install windows xp but you need to gather all the driver for that model in acer site.
