Run Acer Empower Management and see if your LAN is turned on. If OFF then turn it ON, if ON then you may need to reinstall drivers. You can also use Device Manager to check to see if your LAN is working properly. Also when you connect a cable to you LAN connector do you see a green light on one side and a flashing orange on the other?

    Hello!
Sorry for the bad English, but I'm not English... so...

I have the same problem, I formatted, I installed Windows XP Professional with SP2, I installed ALL drivers from the acer site for my 5672WLMi.
Acer ePower Management say my LAN is on.
In device manager, the "controller ethernet" is in "other devices", it's without any driver!
The PC doesn't find the drivers with "live update"... :(
When I attach the ethernet to my PC, I see the green light, but the orange light is "flashing"...
    What I do?

In Device Manager, your network adapter should be displayed under "Network adapters" not "Other devices". On my older 5672 with the x1400 gpu it is listed as

    Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

It may be different for your machine. I don't think you installed your network divers properly. Reinstall and make sure they are the correct divers for your network adapter.
