I'm a little confused on how the 512MB RAM is installed on this laptop...is it one 512MB stick or 256*2?

A couple of posters on this forum have mentioned 512*1 in their posts. But quite a few stores (ZipZoomFly, PCNation etc) mention the installed memory as 256*2.

Can anybody tell me what the actual config is?

I bought mine in Canada and it had 1x512MB. I've since added an extra 1GB stick in the second slot.
