First, I started noticing a sudden slow-down in a certain folder that contained a 30MB+ WAV file. Then today when I created a 40MB+ WAV file on the desktop the same thing happened. Has there been any reported bugs with either Vista or my Acer Aspire 3680 that would cause this?

I currently have that WAV file in the Recycle Bin but when trying to empty it my entire system dramatically slows down, so it's still there.
