I own the Travelmnate 4501wlmi and need to get a good power adaptor for the car and know nothing about them. Can anyone suggest a good one? Are there really any differances between a cheap or expensive unit?

    Thanks!

I use a cheap Canadian Tire one (their brand cost about $35.00 Cdn ) two outlets. I think the biggest difference is wattage (make sure it has enough to provide power to your Laptop) and number of outlets supplied. The one I have runs my Laptop fine and will charge the cell phone as well.

I like them and they are certainly cheaper than the $100 Target car adapater that will ONLY run my LapTop I bought a few years ago....

Also might want to check the Hardware Form as this will likley get moved there as it is not Acer specific and there may be more answers / opinions there as well :D
