I bought an Acer 5672WMLi 3 months ago.

When I turn the power on, the green power light comes on in the front right corner. The power light also comes on in the front.

The ADLS modemd is on as is everything else.

    But the screen reamins black.

the fn + functions don't work.

I have to turn off and on the computer a few to a several times before the screen will come on.

    Question:

    1. Is this a sign of bad things to come with my screen?

    2. Can I fix this?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

The most likely cause of this is because a ram stick is loose, I suggest taking out your ram card(s) and making shure there is no dust on them, then putting them back in.
