    Hi Guys,

I understand that it's a feature of this laptop that it drains the battery when gaming and stops at 30%, however when battery does reach 30%, the i7-7820HK is locked to it's base clock at around 2.7Ghz.

Normally it would take a very long time for the laptop to reach 30%, but now that the lifespan of the battery is heading to it's demise, it reaches that base clock lock at around an hour of gaming, and the performance tanks as a result.

Is there any way around this other than having to buy a brand new battery for the laptop? I don't mind getting the battery to 0% when gaming. Any insights or help would be greatly appreciated.
