    Primary IDE Channel PIO MODE ONLY

    When I first got this computer it ran in DMA mode 5. Now for some odd reason it runs at PIO mode only. I have selected DMA MODE in Device Manager.

    What could be causing this problem? My computer gets so slow because of this.

    Thanks a lot daacon. :) I read the link. Uninstalled and windows reinstalled the primary IDE channel. I got it to work. :D
