I am trying to install Light Room but I get this error message

"This application failed to start because mfc100u.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I have downloaded the file in question and placed it in c:\Windows\System32 and a copy of it in c:\Windows\SysWOW64...I still get the same message

I was hoping someone out there has encountered this problem and has found a way to fix it.

    Thanks in advance!

Here are 2 links to others with the same problem but no fix.

***Never have had this message before this morning...I just recently loaded Vista Home Premium from recovery discs. My computer was booting from Arcade then would stay in hibernation mode. My computer originally came with Vista Ultimate...Don't think that has anything to do with it though***
