Hi my name is Stefan and i come from Serbia. Half years ago i buy ACER Extensa 5630 G. I installed Windows XP SP 2 without SATA and everything was running perfectly exept i was getting BSOD from time to time . Recently (one month ago) i installed Windows 7 . Performance in ordinary work and in programs is now excellent but...... There is another side of the medal. PC games . When i intsalled ACER graphicks drivers i runned my games with stuttering . Also with ATI drivers(9.12) modded by Mobility driver threre is no stuttering but i can play only in low resoluitions like 800 600, 640 480 etc. What is the problem ? I really dont like XP and i like Windows 7. Pls help me.
P.S Sorry for bad english , i hope you understand me .

Is it possible to install mobility drivers direct from ATi ?
Nowadays ATi offer direct driver support for their mobility line.

I looked around other laptop drivers with ATI Graphics latest is only Version 8.XXX
    There are no newer drivers.
I think you need to find out why it stutters.
Run HWMonitor during gaming to check.

Anyway today i noticed something weird .When i install GTA 4 1.0.30 patch everything is running great on 30 -35 fps on medium details but i get missing textures . Does anyone know some mod for GTA 4 for textures? BTW I found 8.690 drivers for my card.

Sometimes graphics drivers do have bugs apparently the game you are running has it.
So I urge you to find the latest Mobility Radeon by finding the latest greatest laptop equiped with ATi Graphics and use that driver.
ATi graphics drivers are universal meaning usually they work for a range of graphics device.

Sorry man but they are not universal. There are desktop ATI drivers and Mobility ACER,HP, Lenovo drivers ... BTW Mobility modder doesnt work with 10.1 drivers .

The driver will install provided the device id is in the catalyst driver list of supported device.
So you have to find a later version that has your device id as well.

I mean you are suppose to find the list of laptops in order to locate the drivers, not me and I don't know which is the latest release anyway.
I can only tell you about the device id.
