    Hey all...
I bought my Aspire2023 today (Madrid, Spain) and upgraded to 1Gb RAM. As soon as I got to the shop, the guy turned on the computer so that I could check that there where 1024 Mb on Ram. The WinXP wizard started and since we didn want to go through the whole thing just to check the memory I told him to shut off and that I was gonna check it at home, so he just declined to accept the license agreement in order to force the "Shut Down" button, clicked it and the computer turned off.

20 min. later, as soon as I got home I plug the laptop and press the I/O button on top of the keyboard. The little yellow light bulb (Power on/off indicator) lights up , I hear the fan and HDD spinning, ACER 2020 appears in the LCD along with the batt indicator (showing half capacity) and all of the sudden the fan stops (I believe this is normal...) and HDD stops spinning (blue HDD light shuts off). Both bluetooth and WI-FI lights are lit up.

Through all this process I am not able to see sqwat in the screen!!!

I assume the CPU is starting up, but Im not able to see even the BIOS, Acer`s splash screen, nothing!!!

I dont see signs that windows is actually loading in the background. Also tryed to press keys (Enter, Caps Lock, etc) but nothing happened...

Also tryed to plug a normal monitor to the video jack but no results.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

    Thanx for the help!!
