I have a Aspire 5610-4720 (one with camera) and the dsll or dlss (I don.t remember the correct name of the file) file is damaged. I got that messageon my screen. the computer is impossible to use now. It has slowed down terribly. Starting up takes about 20 mins and login into any program or using the programs is a pain. What can I do? Do I need the recovery disk?

    Help me please. Thank you

It sounds like your hard drive is dying but this may not be the case.

You might not need a recovery disk, simply turning the unit on and pressing alt+F10 together multiple times at the acer splash screen should start up the disk to disk recovery feature. If you get any errors during the image restore process there is a more than likely change that you have a hardware problem.
