    Problem with viewing video at full screen....

    I have just bougt an Aspire 5720z and I have only update Vista to SP1. When I try to watch a movie from the net at full screen , it only let me hear the voice but not able to see pictures.What can the problem be?

    i too had this problem, I found that if you right click on the video screen when normal size and click settings, then make sure the box for enable hardware acceleration is unchecked then this sorted the problem out. Note, a settings option is not available on all video formats when right clicked, whatever format youtube is, it works on that. Hope this helps.

    if that doesn't fix it try downloading a CODEC PACK such as

    K-LITE or any of the many codec packs listed on that site
