    Problems connecting laptop to LCD TV

    I´m trying to use my Samsung lcd tv as a monitor for my Aspire 9411 laptop. When connected all I get on the tv is the image of my desktop photo. :mad:
    I must be missing something in the setup but I can not figure out what I´m doing wrong :confused:

    Any ideas out there that will help me resolve this issue???

    Are you sure it's not running in extended desktop mode?

    As in, it added another desktop to your laptop's desktop. Try moving your mouse to the left or right edges to see if it will jump across the border to your TV.
