    Problems with Acer Travelmate 4674

    My girlfriend purchased the Acer Travelmate 4674 from Zipzoomfly and has been having alot of problems with it.

    For one, the laptop, which is only a week old has crashed seven times already... (blue screen). Another much more annoying problem is that her powerbrick died... again for no reason. When plugged in, the light on the power brick comes on for a sec then fades away. One of our friends has the same power brick so we did manage to charge her computer with that, but only when the laptop is held at an angle. It seems the battery doesn't like into place correctly.

    We are sending it back to have it replaced with another unit. Has anyone else had similar problems or have any suggestions or ideas about where these problems may come from?

    Sounds like a defective unit. Hopefully the new one will be much better.
