    Problems with Aspire 1691WLCI DVD RW

    Don't know if it's the right place to post it, but I'll give it a try.

    I have Acer Aspire 1691WLCI and recently my DVD dual layer RW stopped working properly. I cant' write CDRs no more, although it reads CDs and DVDs perfectly. Also on my task bar I have "Safely Remove Hardware" icon and and it shows constantly my DVD RW, although I've never asked for it to be removed. And it never dissappears, it stays there everytime I restart my laptop. When I look into Properties it says that device is working properly.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
