    Hey guys,

I have an Acer Aspire 5552.

for some reason recently Whe nIm say abou to watch a movie or turn the laptop on etc. (Quite random actually) The laptop speakers turn into a microphone, Ive messed around with the onboard sound loads but cant seem to stop it doing this.

Also another Question, Ive put soundforge (recording software) onto my laptop and want to record from my Dj Turntables/mixer to the laptop but the sound is very e, Could this be because theres no other input apart from headphones and mic inputs?

    Any help would be appriciated.

    Exactly what I said mate.

The inbuilt speakers on the laptop that play sound are acting as a microphone, picking up sound from where I am, Echoing, and when I move it around I get the loud feedback noise, just like a microphone would.

Doesn't this laptop have a built in mic? I'd suggest checking the options on Control Panel, Sound, Recording tab, Microphone, if you haven't already? It could be that the options in there might be worth checking?

    Just a thought...

Hi there, were you ever able to resolve this issue. I am helping a friend out that is having this exact same issue on her Aspire 5552. I believe there is a software problem that is causing her webcam mic to feed audio out her speakers and cause feedback. However, her webcam mic does not show in her recording devices list which is odd. If you have any information on how you were able to resolve this problem, if at all, please post it here so I can look into it. Thanks!
