I have a 3690-2970.Everything is on the C partition of my hard drive and I can't get anything to write to the D partition. The C partition became full. This caused an error in Vista that required a clean reinstall of Vista. How can I get files to write onto the D partition of my hard drive?

Is the D: partition empty? Is it formatted? What happened when you try to copy files on it - error? What error?

The partition is empty except for a few folders.Yes it's formatted.I don't remember the error.I will have to check it when I am home.Thanks.The other thing is,the partions are 33gb each but my HD is 80gb.Why is this?

You probably still have the hidden recovery partition which occupies - depending on the model - 8-14GBs.

Check what is the error exactly and report back.

I was able to move my data over from C to D partition.I am unsure why it didn't before.I have ran Glary registry cleaner since then.Could that have corrected a problem?

No idea. Without the exact error message I cannot tell what caused it or what fixed it. Never heard of a registry problem which doesn't allow copying from one partition to another..

    Glad you sorted it out.
