    Hi all,

    I have a problem setting the external monitor ViewSonic p95f+ to work with my Acer Travelmate 3012WTMi. Using the ezDock the screen on the ViewSonic is green. Using the direct output, from the laptop to the monitor, the colors are ok.

    However, I am not able to set the dimensions or even the second monitor to function!

    I can get the duplicate view of the laptop to the external monitor but this is definitely not good enough.

    Surely there must be a way to set the laptop to "understand" the other monitor and its dimensions. Or is there?

    Hi, the problem still exists even though after installing the new intel driver i am able to switch the monitor manually.

    also, i learned that the display card (excuse my english, not sure of the correct word) - intel - does not work very well or not at all with external monitors. this would be kind of nice to know before investing for example 3000€ on a new small thinkpad...
