    Do you guys think if I waited to purchase the Acer Travelmate 8204 in June or July, all of the problems that it has been having would be worked out?

    All the problems were all readicated with only one person saying there was a fault with the 03/06 batch. The new 04/06 batch should be out and all the problems are fixed :D

    Btw enjoy owning one. (it's a beast)

    When will the 4/06 batch be out? How can I make sure that I GET a machine from the 4/06 batch?

    I got my 8204 begining of May and luck was with me, th is MFD 04/06. So far, I don't the problems like most people have here who have the earlier built ones. On top of it all, it's a 666.7 MHz and I'm really enjoying it. Glad that I decided to get this one.
    The only thing I haven't tried yet is the VOIP phone to know if it's as bad as what other people said. The only thing I'm disappointed in this laptop is the volume; when it's at the max. it is not loud at all to me. I tried this when I was talking to a friend on Skype without using the VOIP phone.
