    Anybody got any idea if the Q9000 can be used in the 6920?

    I'm not familiar with quads but I doubt it. Even if it fits, there won't be a BIOS support for it IMO.

    Yes BIOS Support is missing, and it will need a Socket Revision to support the QCs. The 8930's mobo went through a revision as well.

    thanks guys, not sure if its good news or bad news, it saves me some money now but will cost much more later, :D

    when i saw some sales data on the new 8930 my hopes were raised prematurely!
