    So another stupid question. Do you HAVE to upgrade to Intel core 2 duo mobile? Or can i upgrade to another type, like Celeron Dual core or whatever? Or is that not possible...?

    If i can then which/what kind?

    P.S: and yes i am cheap.
    annnnddd if i can't upgrade to anything other than intel core 2 duo mobile, whats the cheapest model version i can get? I'm only 15 and don't really want to spend a crackload of money... :p
    sorry for keep editing....another thing is im using a Celeron M 530 @ .173 ghz. I see some Intel core duos for sale on ebay for $35-60 bucks which is a really good price for a dual core in my book. Are those compatible with this aspire?

    IT HAS MORE INFO THAN YOU WILL EVER NEED W/ REGUARDS TO CPU UPGRADES

    REMEMBER THAT YOU NEED A SOCKET-P CPU
    t5450, t5550 OR SIMILAR WILL WORK FINE. ALL THE INFO IS IN THE 5315 CPU UPGRADE THREAD

    buy a CORE2DUO the CORE-DUO are older and the extra 5 or 10 dollars is worth it
