    I know you have to burn a recovery dvd from the hard drive.. My question is can I do a clean install of just VISTA and none of the "bloatware" that comes with the acer?? Thanks

    do have anytime upgrade you can use that install vista then just find the drivers on site

    I bought the laptop from Austria, I had to reinstall Vista because it was in german, everything works just fine whitout all that junk. Just download the drivers and you will be OK.
