after updating intel 855gme drivers from 3691 (preinstalled with Acer Travelmate 4051LMi) to 4332 (latest) I cannot take any sense of my resolution setting.. 800x600 works fine but 1024x768 (60hz) somehow hides some 200-300 pixels from my bottom part of the screen so I cannot see startmenu. So horizontal is ok, but in vertical screen is stretched so pixels are missing and I cannot see them at all.. this way all letters and so are higher that supposed to be.
If anyone knows what's going on and how to solve I would like to try. Acer support has no ideas resolving this.
No special monitor drivers exist, and least not on acer's driverlist and system restore CDs.
After reinstalling old drivers everything is now fine.
    VideoBios version 3104.
