Hi, I just bought a Acer Extensa 5620-4020 laptop about 3 days ago and I must say it's very good considering that I bought it brand new for $579 at circuit city. At first I was really hesitant because I thought the processor speed would be slow like molasses, but it really proved me wrong and is pretty fast. My dell inspiron 9100 died on me so, i needed another laptop fast and I saw this laptop and for the price I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Here are the specs for this laptop:

    *Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T2370 (1.73 GHz. 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 Cache)
*15.4 inch WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD
*2 GB DDR 2 Memory RAM
    *250 GB HDD
*up to 358 MB Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
    *Crystal Eye Webcam

My question would be is it possible to upgrade the processor as well as the graphics/video card for this laptop? I tried Googling and contacting Acer support but they couldn't help.

All I can say is that this laptop gets the job done.

    Welcome to NBR

The graphic card - forget it. IGP can't be upgraded.
I upgraded my T2370 to T7500 but I suppose you can upgrade even more(Penryn).

Thanks for welcoming me and thanks for the fast response in answering my question. Do you think I can play games like Half-life 2 or FEAR on this laptop with all the settings on Low? Gaming is not really important, I'm just curious.

LOL...I think CRYSIS could be a problem though.

With the T7500 I still can't get more than 10fps in Crysis :)
With T2370 I played HL2 and CS:S in dxlevel 70 mode and at 1280x800, 30-60 fps. With T7500 I get better fps, maybe 40-60fps. Again, in dxlevel 70 mode.
Fear is playable at 640x480 low/medium settings, but it look so ugly I can't play it like this..

Note: Make sure you have the latest driver for x3100. Also, it seems that games performance is better in XP than Vista.
