I got this notebook some weeks ago. Am quite well with it, but I want to make some modifications, want to find answers to my questions. I am quite alien to these things yet :)

    - I have DDR 333MHz Rams. I want to upgrade them to higher MHz. How can I learn highest MHz my mainboard supports? Would an upgrade for MHz affect my performance?

    - I have 4200 RPM ****ty Toshiba HDD. It goes up to 52 degrees on hard usage. thats ****. Plus, I can hear disturbing write/read sounds. I used Samsung 5400 for my ex-laptops, it was pretty well; silent, faster. However, I am thinking to upgrade to Hitachi this time. A 5400 or 7K100. I am not very on for storage, due I will take this 80GB to external box. I can use 40GB for system and other stuff, size doesnt matter :) How can it be compared a Samsung 5400 and Hitachi 5400/7200 sound, heat and performance wise?

    - Due my system is AMD, I thought maybe I can fine tune it. I am up for overclocking (at least my ATI 200M). I heard it can be overclocked successfully. Is it wise to overclock my 200M or my cpu?

    All for now :)

Thanks for all answers in advance
