Anyone seeing this yet?? Myself and a co-worker are receving this (windows xp builds) after installing the xp update from today.

    8210 & 8204

Seems that its something to do with realtek audio?

    Full error:

The sytem DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

Microsoft has released a hotfix to correct this...

I had read on other forums that it was also affected HP workstations, Toshiba laptops, and was even causing AVG control center from starting!!!

Oh well, at least they put out a fix within hours of releasing the patch :)

I am in the final stages of building an OS called Curtains. When you install it everything related to Windows is, well eh, Curtains. Gone forever. And your PC screen is dark(er).

It's a bit unstable at this point. Should be usable though if somebody is willing to test the Alpha version. Please back up everything though before you install. I know the OS works, I just cant prove it as the screen is always DARK. Maybe a driver issue?

Oh yes sorry. CURTAINS stands for "Completely Userfriendly Rebootable Task And Internet Noteworthy Systems". Uh huh. Should sell well when the bugs are fixed.
