    You already have 4GB and it's more than enough IMHO, save your money for a nice little SSD. If you still want to increase your memory, yes it will work but you'll notice very little.

    My concern was the latencys,timings etc. which i'm not to familiar with..

    Now about that SSD, that was first thing i wanted to buy (about year & 7m ago) unfortunately price is still to high where i live in. 9 month ago 4Gb DDR3 was 800+kn (140+ USD) i dont know what happened but now its 169kn (30+ USD) in this store. Lower Mid range SSD is about 250 USD

    Yes, memory has come down in price, for the very same reason I went from 4GB to 8GB but as I don't use any programs which need more memory I don't think it has benefited me. However,there will be a slight improvement in general use but there won't be any "WOW" factor in it.
