    Hi everyone.

When I speak through Skype, my microphone is buzzing, and I sound like an old radio or something. But when I pull the AC out, my voice 100% clear with no buzzing! I can't figure out why. I have checked the settings, but there are no changes at all ??

Btw. I have tried to update to all kind of Realtek drivers, and I have done several system recoveries - but no luck.

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards powerfull499.

I have just got answer from Acer through email.

They said, that it is defective, and I should send it in. Nah.... What do you think? I could just begin to use my headset again o_O!?

While you have the laptop plugged in, do you have other devices connected to it via USB or other conectors, that are themselves pluged into power, ie. a printer, external monitor, powered speakers?

If so make sure you have the laptop and everything else connected to it that needs power, coneced to the same power bar or into the same outlet. If not you might be creating what's called a ground loop. This might happen if a printer, speakers, router, internet modem... is connected to one outlet [or wall socket] and maybe becasue you've used up all the sockets, you have the laptop [or maybe one of the devices conected to it] connected via an extension cord to another outlet in the room or in another room. This kind of setup will definitely create the buzz you are experiencing.

The best setup is to have everything connected to one power distribution point or power strip.

    Oh yeah!

I tried to use only one extension cord! Before I had my television, PlayStation and Wii + Computer to two extension cords. Now the computer is connected to it's own power-source!

I think it made the trick! The microphone is now 100% clear!

You made my day man! I was *this* close to send it for repair!

Thank you very much, and rep +1!

Anyways. When I woke up this morning, it buzzed again. Really weird. o_O! I don't know what is going on. Yesterday evening it worked perfectly fine, and now it does it again =S!
