I've got an Acer 5024 and have a question about re-imagining.

I want to install windows 2000 professional on the second partition but want to know if something goes wrong and I want to re-image would the recovery CDs re-image everything including the Master Boot Record that would be altered by windows 2000 or would it not write the factory defaults back to this?

If it didn't would the FixMBR command fix any problems?

    Cheers!
