This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Recovery CDs for Acer 290

    My hard drive is dying. I gave Acer a call this morning and after being on the phone for all of 10 minutes (which was great) they told me that they would send me a new hard drive which is even better because I am in the middle of exams where I have to use my computer to take some tests. The problem is however that I have no idea what I did with my Recovery CDs. I am in the middle of moving so I dont even know where to start to look. Does any out there have the CDs and could make me a copy of them? I will pay for shipping and some extra for your time and trouble.
