I got myself a new laptop but it became french not english(didn't get to decide, wasn't there then), but I got the store i bought it from to put it into english. The problem is that when it was french there were more programs like gridvista, eye webcam etc. Now that it's english there none of those programs. So i'm wondering if I should do the eRecovery management thing, will it stay in english with the programs like the french one? or should i ask for recovery disks from acer and tell them my problem?...yea I know it's a long post...o by the way it's a acer 5920g/5920-6642 laptop...says both on my laptop.![]()

You're lucky you don't have any of the acer rubbish, I would leave it as it is. The only thing you need is Acer Crystal Eye for the webcam.
If you really want the acer programs back, they can be found in english on the acer support website. -
ahh i see i was really just looking for that eye webcam program and why my hard drives was in two, cause i can't remember if it was divided into two or not before. Anyways thanks for the help.

Find it from here:
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html
Go to notebooks, and search your laptop, then you will see a list of downloads/drivers.
Edit: this one i guess:

you will also need the Launch Manager. as this controls a few of the media keys.
just a thought.
