    Just wondered, if you ran a recovery disc(one you create yourself) , to do a factory reinstall does that in any way reinstall or alter the BIOS if there were a problem there.
    Trying to help a friend with a problem ACER 3690
    Does the 3690 that shipped originally with Vista have the option to do a full image recovery from the hidden partition (assuming it has one). Could only find a user manual that list XP... is it the same procedure ? if it can be done.
