    Hi there.

    Just want to ask you guys how can I format, as in completely erase everything on my 5600AWLMi...
    TWO Problems: 1.Don't have recovery disc. 2.DVD tray not working anymore.

    Hope I get some replies here.

    If there is an option to boot from USB in BIOS you can prepare a bootable pen drive and format and install system from it.
    If there's no such option you have to borrow a working CD/DVD drive from someone else’s laptop- just mind the fact that older ones were ATA and new ones are SATA so these won't fit.
