I read the following article (How To Remove Bloatware From Your Notebook)
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=4752

and also went through the threads on this forum where people talked about removing the bloatware that folks recommended removing from the Acer Laptop. Since I am receiving my Acer Timeline 13.3" laptop with Win 7 tonight, I am curious to know what Acer software is safe to remove (in addition to the trial anti-virus software and other obvious suspects).

I removed absolutely everything on mine, except the device drivers, and made sure I have nothing starting up with Windows apart from the antivirus (and the touchpad driver if it's there).

Simple, effective, and I haven't lost any functions on my laptop.
