Had my 4670 in my acer 8935g die on me got ahold of a 6570 and figured since it was the same power usage foothold and same mxm3.0 technology it should work but whenever I install the drivers it will only display through the vga port.
It works great through the vga and displays properly just does not see the display on my laptop.
If I don't install it I am stuck with the onboard Intel portion of the switchable still more stable than with the 4670 but would like to be able to replace with this one.

Looks like it's designed for apple or an all in one so does not support LVDS (your monitor's connection).

I'd look for a 6770M or firegl equivalent.

Yes it is, it aldo should come with GDDR5 which will help give smooth frame rates especially on a higher resolution display.

I have some 6600/6700 series gddr5 cards for sale at 169$, however, I think you should try a more powerful card like the 5870 gddr5.

You could also try flashing the vBIOS of your 6570 card, if its really a 6570 not a 6750. Question, does it say anything about "Onega"?
