Comet wanna replace my laptop (1683) which I love with the AS1642ZWLMi as they claim it not repareable. Now I already can see one issue and its the S-Video, Firewire, BT etc sockets. Comet claim they will match the specification, but my sister who had a PC replaced got ripped off and ended up with a computer much worse then the one she had. I don't want this to happen to me and I'd like some opinions. I have done research myself, but you guys seem to be experts.

Another thing I was wondering about is this:

"Doesn't have a dedicated graphics card but just Intel Graphics Accelerator, which takes memory for graphics needs from the main RAM memory"

I found that on a review and I'm not very sure but I don't belive the 1683 had that Intel Graphics Accelerator. Also, I'd like to know what HDD is in it so I can check the speed of it, not just the storage.

And any coments you have please please share them. On any minor detail. You'd really be helping me out.

    Thank you!
