    Hi,
I recently broke a few keys on my new acer aspire laptop and have ordered a new keyboard, does anyone know how to replace the keyboard on this model?? (or any of the models with the isolated backlit keys)
I asked the salesman was it easier to just replace the keys missing but he said that can be difficult due to the brackets.
    Help appreciated,

    Tony

I think there are plastic 5 clip points across the top of the keyboard, lift carefully as two cables need to be detatched. For each release the clamp and gently remove, swap and reverse process.

Keyboards come in many variations . . check you got the exact right one before swapping or you may have to /choose to experiment with replacing the key-tops
