Having removed all screws from underside of Laptop (including 5 beneath the battery. All plastic clip around the rim are unclipped but the top cover and keyboard are stuck fast in the centre of the machine!? How do I remove it to replace the keyboard, it has many keys missing, hence replacing it, (A friends Boxer pupper chewed them off!) HELP!!!

There are latches at the top, left and right edges that hold the keyboard into the case. You need a small screwdriver with a slotted head to push the latches in. Once all latches are in, the keyboard can come out.

The top cover can be removed by passing your fingernail through the seam to release the latches.

Beware when removing the keyboard strip from the connector to the motherboard. In my case, the soldering between the connector and the motherboard was extremely weak such that I managed to take the connector off. I've been using an external keyboard ever since.
