This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Replacing battery

    I have an 8930 which is a couple of years old, and the battery now only lasts less than an hour - so probably needs replacing.

    Acer batteries are very expensive and I can get one for about a third of the price elsewhere (Auction site!)

    Does anyone have any experience of such replacements?
    Are they any good?
    Any recommendations?

    Any views welcomed and appreciated.
