Hello notebook review member
I am new to the forum and i like to say hello to everyone
Now with my problem
I have mistake deleted my recovery partion and Acer said it will cost me $129 to fix.
So i am asking how to restore the recovery partion?, I have a copy of factory defaults DVDs that i burned using erecovery.
Or if any1 that has a Aspire 5920 or 5920G or something close could backup the drive along with the recovery partion and upload it for me
thanks

You really don't need the recovery partition.
I restored my 5315 from the DVD's I burned.
It restored Vista just fine.

the recovery partition is for people who "forgot" to burn the recovery disks or "lost" them.
did you also make the DRIVERS AND APPLICATIONS DISK??
still not needed as the recovery disk has all apps installed on the DISKS,
the DRIVERS AND APPS disk is good if you wipe out your HDD and do a CLEAN install using a RETAIL copy or the ANYTIME UPGRADE version of VISTA.. since it allows you to load and install the desired software w/o loading the extra crap you don't use
Request- Aspire 5920 Recovery Partion
