    How do i throttle to system to restore space, my gigabytes are being eaten

    up too fast.....newbie..keiko1

    Open system restore. Click on system restore settings. Click on settings and drag the slider to min.

    If you want to live on the edge of danger, you can also turn it off altogether by right clicking on My Computer, choosing Properties, then going to the System Restore tab and checking the Turn off System Restore box. It won't take up any space that way, but you won't be able to use it obviously.

    or create a system restore point as you need it like before installing a new software / program.
